Ryan Crowder
Reasons are unknown
Meet Ryan Crowder
- Pre-determined Austin's innocence before investigation
- Subsequently, chosen for the Pastoral Advisory Committee. Coincidence?
- Has Austin come preach AFTER Austin is disqualified and runs from discipline
- Still Recommends Austin
- Responded to this site by calling VBM the "greatest people in missions"
- Thinks that calling out sin = being a cry baby?
1. His Response to the 2021 Scandal
Sept 6, 2021 Just after the original accusations were made public. Ryan's public comment to Austin Gardner stating how he never doubted him.
"We love you Pastor and Miss Betty. We stand with you. So grateful for your testimonies for the Lord. Never doubted you and we look forward to truth prevailing. Continuing to pray for you and the family as God works this out."
Before any investigation.
"I never doubted you" doesn't sound like someone seeking truth and justice. It is used, though, by those who perpetuate the absence of accountability.
2. Chosen for Pastoral Advisory Committee
Along with the other pastors who came out most defensive of Austin and VBM, Ryan is chosen to be on the Committee.
Coincidence?
3. Has Austin preach at his church AFTER he ran from church discipline
Austin was disqualified from ministry towards the end of 2021 from his church at the time, Vision Baptist Church. This post from Ryan is after Austin ran from church discipline. You can see he invited Austin to preach at his church and publicly recommend him to others to have speak in their churches.
March 2022 post (now deleted)
"So very thankful for this evening's service. Brother Austin Gardner brought a message that I truly believe God will continue to use in the life of this church. Grateful for his encouragement and friendship in my service to the Lord. God is very good and gracious to allow people like this to be in your life. If you would like someone to speak on world missions at your church, you would do well to prayerfully consider him."
4. 2022 Exposure Response: Double down. Full support of VBM Leadership
December 8, 2022 post
"This is an event worth attending. Share with your pastor and church. The first one I went to changed the scope of my life. I don't know of a better event to rub shoulders with some of the greatest people involved in missions. Check it out!"
Tough Guy Talk
Ryan's post from December 8, 2022 Just after this site goes public exposing an org that he is on the committee for, he publishes this:
"The ministry, the pastorate, is no place for cry-babies and wimps. If you are looking for a nice, easy job go sell drugs. Find something else to do. But don't get into this vocation. Endure hardship." - Montoya
The timing of this post is curious. Is he say that exposing sin, abuse, and lies = being a cry baby/wimp?
